Hi All,
Picked up another non fruit machine for free and going to have a go to get it fully working.
This is a Bell Fruit Scorpion 4 Deal or No Deal machine.
No idea how long it not been working, the first thing I checked was the mempac battery on the board, this had low voltage so I swapped it out via a fly lead to mount the new battery away from the board.
I cannot see any leakage but it could have.
When i powered the machine up I get no sign of life from the lamps however I do have 4 Green continuous lamps at the top of the scorpion 4 board and red flashing led next to the reset button.
Any ideas where to start ?
The number reel in the upper door seems to have power but none to the main 3 reels

PAC-Man Power Up Alarm 10-70

Hi All,
Finally got round to getting a project fruit machine, picked up a pac-man power up barcrest MPU6 Machine for free local.
Previous owner said it was not turning on.
I have replaced the CR2032 back up battery and the machine boots up however I am getting the Alarm 10-70 serial coin mech missing with the audible warning CALL MANAGER.
I have tried resetting the coin mech switching to position E and back but this made no difference.
It boots and plays fine in demo mode.
Hoping a few knowledgeable people on here can point me in the right direction

Epoch The Italian Job no sign of life

Hi All..
New to the forum and this is my first post.
Had several fruitys in the past but never tried to fix one if it broke.
Just acquired a Maygay Italian Job 2 as a non worker that I hope to bring back to life.
After a quick check of the power unit and boards for any visual damage I power the machine up, it made a few clicking cracking noise from the speakers but no lights or movement and I noticed a bit of smoke by the lamp board, turned the machine off and tried to see what had burned.
It was one of the wires coming from the lower lights plug at the lamp board, I then power up the machine with all the leads disconnected at the psu and all 6 LEDs were on, then I tried power again with leads connected but unplugged the lower lamp connector, this time no spoke but no other lights or movement, 3 LEDs are lit on the mpu board +12v..-12..and the +vlogic plus the led on the lamp board was on.
Can anyone point in the right direction of what to check first please, did a bit of research about the epoch system and the unreliability of the psu but not sure because all the LEDs are lit
Regards Mark
