Deal or No deal Power five £41 pay out on 50 pence stake?

03 April 2009 - 05:23 PM

Hi there. I had a quick go on Power five today and although as per normal i was on a mystery within 5 spins i managed to get mega shot on red feature. on the reels cherries, melons and a red box wild. Pressing my luck i thought i would take it and go for the Wild knowing that a bigger win that £5 could be obtained. Now the machine spun in £6 worth of cherries and lemons eventually with several dead spins along the way, and just when i thought that was that, the machine rolled in a jackpot making the total £41. Now i have to admit i didnt check if a credit had been taken, but i didnt think that a.) prizes over £35 could be awarded off a single stake and if that was the case; B) see a feature (not top feature) take a second credit to continue. I could have got the complete wrong end of the stick here but i was under the impression the maximum you can win in one go (from a stake) is £35 and anything extra can be won only if a further stake is taken. anyone know the answer to this? I mean it might be just that a credit was taken (pretty sure it wasnt) but i have never known a non-top feature to require extra credit to continue unless it was a "repeat chance" or a streak. I guess i sound like i am complaining when i should be happy with the win (trust me i was, i ended up with a rare profit) buti am just trying to gain an understanding on how some of the machines work. I mean it is possible to obtain jackpot off any feature i would presume but to get over the jakpot on one credit seems wrong from what i understand on laws of these thing. Anyone got the answer or had similar?

£5jp Party time 3 player. Reel mess up and streak.

30 March 2009 - 07:38 PM

Hi everyone. was in the arcade today playing the £5 party time and my luck was in i got a board. A big board. The top went for £46 pound before kicking me out. Now while there is nothing unusual with that, the reels (top reels) behaved very wierdly. firstly the middle reel was spinning the wrong way round and all were coming in at different times (not usual reel 1 then 2 then 3.) Secondly, the biggest "problem" was that the reels spun in £2, £5 and £5 but awared a £5 win. This "glitch" happened when the machine was set to £15jp and it always signalled a run of at least £45+. I have never seen this behaviour on a partytime anywhere else except this one and was seeing if anyone else has seen this fault/sign of a streak. Id be the first to admit this is very rare having only had two of these in the past year but have seen one when someone else was playing. so anyone seen this before on similar machines?

My arcade is getting £70 machine at 50 pence stake

27 March 2009 - 08:41 PM

Hi everyone first post here. My local arcade owner is getting in the £70 jackpot machines but insists they are only 50 pence stakes. from what i was eharing the £70 machines were going to be £1 stakes. Just curious if anyone else has these machines near them and what the playability is liek with them. I must admit i hate the £35 at50 pence stakes so the prospect of a £70 at 50p suggests that £30 - £40 for a board might not be out of the question.
