London – 2 February 2018 – Scientific Games Corporation (NASDAQ: SGMS) (the “Company”) announced today that the Company’s UK division, SG Gaming, will be gradually phasing out its Triple7 terminal, which was introduced to the market in 2007, to focus on its more current product range, including the recently unveiled innovative Equinox™ range.
Equinox™ range has been developed to be modular by design and adaptive to new emerging technology. It is comprised of four striking terminals – three with different HD screen sizes of 24”, 27” and a curved 43” 4K screen, along with a magnificent 55” community gaming showstopper. It also offers a host of innovative new features such as ‘Privacy Mode’ on its V-Deck+ gaming panel, as well as providing access to an array of engaging gaming content from the SG Gaming content development team. The range will provide SG Gaming’s most immersive gaming experience to date.
As part of this fantastic innovation, SG Gaming has reached the decision that it will no longer update and support its Triple7 terminal. Whilst the Triple7 terminal has performed well since its launch in 2007, it is no longer able to provide as compelling a gaming experience as the Company’s more recent products. New platform software updates and new content updates will cease from the 31st July 2018, with the terminal reaching its end of life by 1st January 2019, after which all SG Gaming support will cease. SG Gaming is already working with its customers to ensure an effective migration.
Simon Johnson, Group Commercial Director at SG Gaming, said, “The Triple7 has been a great product for our customers, but at over ten years old, it cannot compete with our more modern products. Innovation is always at the forefront of what we do at SG Gaming, and the new Equinox™ range is a real step forward, not only as a terminal solution, but also in terms of the cutting-edge features that support it.
We very much look forward to rolling out the new Equinox™ terminals into more venues next year, allowing operators to offer their players the most up-to-date playing experience, and ultimately help to drive cashbox performance as a result”.

I currently own 2 machines. Barcrest rainbow riches(on the fiddle) on mpu 6 tech and a BFM monopoly wonders of the world club on scorpian 4 tech.
Both have note acceptors fitted that cant be updated for the new polymer notes ( jcm eba and a nv10 non usb).
I'm lookin for a recycler at least on the barcrest that i know can take, but all the ones ive seen have the stacker unit underneath, so hell the hell do u fit it?
My preferance is for a jcm vega, i'm wondering if the stacker can be took off at all, so the excess notes just fall to the note box.
Also if anyone knows can a scorpian 4 accept a recycler?
