I purchased a vivid/barcrest connect 4 machine about a month ago and had a problem with the stake and prizes 8 key switch thanks for your suggestions i purchased a static prize key and i can now have the machine on £5 jackpot £10 play as well as £25 jackpot and 25p play.

I do have a couple more quick questions to ask

I have a constant homing noise i belive is coming from the reels I have checked all the wiring etc and everything seems to be ok is this normal?? (i have the sound on 20 so maybe the noise is on most machines and i havent heard it before as they have been set louder?) would this be anything to do with power supply?

Also I have a circle on the front glasse I presume a logo/sticker was oringinaly on here does anyone have it scanned in? or a website i could get the logo from(believe its just the standard no under 18 one) so i could add it to my machine just to complete the look

How do you know what stakes a vivid/barcrest can be set at.

I have a vivid connect 4 machine but can only play it on £25 jackpot and 30p when no stake key is inserted into the game card.
I received a stake key with the machine which has 8 switches on and have set it at various conbinations but all i ever get is invalid key displayed on screen. the only way i can play the machine is to take the stake key out.

Could it be possible that the machine only works with static stake keys not switch ones??
or the game card does not have any other stakes loaded apart from default (£25 and 30p play) when no key is inserted is this possible?

I cant even set £25 and 30p play on the stake key which seems strange.

I know you can set the machine to other stake settings as i also recevied decals for £5 jackpot.

Hi just thought I would ask as im new to owning a fruit machine if its usual for the reels to make a huming noise (can be herd over the sound of machine when machine is set to 5) Its the 3 reels at the front and the higher and lower wheel. (seems to be more humming coming from the higher and lower one)

Also I am running my machine without a stake key inside and it comes up with no key found then sets its selft to default is it fine to keep it playing like this.

Recently got a vivid connect 4 machine which i believe is owned by barcrest, however im having a problem with the stake and prizes it keeps coming up with invalid key on the fruit machine display and wont let you go any further

on the stake and prizes connection it has "on" written on it at the top and the numbers "1-8" with very small swiches that go up and down under the numbers.

Does anyone know what i have to connect the stake and prizes to? I would like to play at £5 jackpot and 10p play, would also like the settings for £25 jackpot.

There is also a percentage key with "on" at the top and 1-4 written on it, again i presume there is some sort of way of setting the switches for this as well?

Any help much appriciated.

Im new to the board and have already had some great help finding out the money magic machine i had was faulty. The company i purchased it from via ebay have agreeded to change the machine and have given me a list of machines, could I ask which one you think is best and most reliable.
