Connection drops out for no apparent reason have to refresh browser 3 millon times for signs of life. I get 200 Mails a day seling me drugs , money , sex , or the like.
when I complained about high levels of junk mail i was told not our problem go and buy this software or that software where as hotmail i get no junk and its cost me nowt , sod all , a free lunch.
I am now on my 3rd modem
had 4 visits from engineers who scratch there heads go outside for a fag then bugger off and say its fixed.
I am on NTL and I get EXACTLY THAT suddenly it wont display websites all my IM things shut down , and hitting refresh about 1 million times kicks it back into gear. Its a nationwide fault. There upgrading a already well over stretched network so welcome to even more crap from those nice people at NTL Home.
It is either that or you have a bad earth somewhere on the machine.
Check to make sure all the earth wires are intact and there is a good connection this is usually a problem on older machines as the connections tend to break down and oxadise.
if a 25p machine doesnt repeat it will 9/10 let you back in the board shortly after with another jackpot. thats sorta a repeat.
