Yawn, Monopoly I'm not even going to give you the pleasure of an educated response, I'm not going to sit here writing one-syllable words just so that you can understand what I'm saying. Congratulations though on your astounding impressions, you should be on stage, Jimmy Cricket. Tell the truth though sad lad, you're just pissed cos you want them and know that because you have to ask, you're not getting them.

Were talking THEM btw, there's 3 here, ONE may be older but the info still applies because it's simple common sense applied to a few tips from an engineer. The others aren't hundreds of kb's, they're MB's, and I'm sooooo happy you ALL already either have them or know what's in them, cos it saves me sending them to you eh?

The trouble is with you people (you know who I'm talking to cos you're still here) you want everything on your terms, you hate being dictated to and anyone that tries is shot down in flames. It's the same for the layout designers, no-one is ever happy, you always want more more more. Well I'm not shying away, if you don't like the offer then tough, you think I didn't expect all this? Lol, I work with idiots every single day of my life, predictable, sad little fools so, I can hold my own here.

So, just so we all know where we stand then: I'll continue as I set out, I'm beginning to feel like I have friends now with all this e-mail. Lol, you say I've got the sweets? Well here's some news for you in a language you all understand. 'They're my f***in sweets and I'll hand them out where I f***in like, if you don't like it you can f*** off or fight, either way I'm going nowhere' The reason? There's far more who want this and are quite happy to ask than there is ungreatful half-wits, funny, just like outside in the real world eh? The minority are not gonna ruin this for the rest. Nice try though, in fact, keep trying. ;)

Anyone who's got them by now can do whatever they like, post them up here if you want. The idea of doing it the way I did was so that members who give a bit around here felt like they were getting something for their efforts, instead of another 'free for all' where people just come and take the lot never to be seen again and without a word of thanks. It's people like that making the disks and selling them on Ebay, and I want people like that to go and buy it like I did  You can bet they wouldn't be giving it away then would they? Besides, do you really want everyone knowing what you know? If you ask me that's the problem these days, people can't hold thier own piss.

I see someone's already posted anyway (attachment missing though, nothing like offering nothing for nothing is there? :-? ) and I'm not in a position to host anything, but yeah, don't mention it. ;)
Barcrest, why don't you pay me what I paid (including £5 for the latest 2004 guide with over 200 pages due any minute, so that's £10 in all) and then come back here and give all 3 away to everyone? :p

I could have spent the ten quid on sponsorship, and some may think it would have been be more useful. Personally I reckon these items are a star find because they're a guaranteed seller on Ebay, worth far more than a tenner in the long run. If you sold 1 a week even that's £52 a year, and judging by the demand already you'd have to be a blind no-armed pygmy with autism and amnesia not to sell at least 1 a week.

IRVSTER: your e-mail keeps bouncing back mate, have you got another?

There's been over a hundred views to the thread so far but less than 20 e-mails, so I just want to thank everyone for not swamping me with requests, if anyone has asked and not received (or got one and not the other) then please pm me and I'll sort it out. ;)

What's the general opinion to the tips by the way? Good? Useful? shite? Obvious? Too old?

I personally thought there were some handy tips, particularly about when to play/not play and confusing the routine etc, also the handy cut-off points. What about the machine tips though? I've seen the manufacturers list this kind of information, or does this go into a bit more detail?

You're perfectly entitled to your opinions, as am I, but the response above shows how you feel when someone misreads them or takes them out of context as a basis for an argument. (you said yourself you totally disagree, hence argument, i.e. a difference of opinion) I couldn't care less what you think, all that bothered me was the fact you thought you needed a snippet of my opinion as the basis for a rant, and as you were literally contesting my point of view I think I'm perfectly entitled to come blundering back across it with whatever I like, you're twisting half what I'm saying and implying the rest. If you don't want me involved in your arguments then don't drag me into them.

this seems to be of an opinion that emulation prevents people playing real fruit machines

Why? It doesn't say anything of the kind, how can it prevent anything? To prevent means to impede, why would using an emulator impede you playing a real machine? The opinionee is actually 'of the opinion' that anyone with half a brain can see from playing 'a multitude of machines' (not one) that the long term gains for 'Mr Joey average player' are minimal to nilimal, it was actually directed at those that play machines and lose a lot of money regularly; and where does it mention anything about sticking to one machine? The whole point of the emulator is it allows you to play as many as you like. It wasn't an opinion on professional gambling, this is: In my opinion professional gamblers are an extremely tiny proportion of those that gamble. That is to say, someone who makes a living out of gambling belongs to the tiniest of minorities, and even less are professional fruit machine gamblers. Why would a professional gambler use an emulator that's at least 3 years behind current technology to learn from? He wouldn't, so who would then?
Me and a whole load of others who neither are, nor were ever, professional gamblers.
